One of our best sellers when I use to be a baker was a fresh bloomer loaf coated on top with chopped onion and melted cheese, the lovely smell use to waft round the superstore and they usually sold out within an hour at most :) Damn I miss those days :)

I can imagine how that feels Samcat. Going from one stone to the next (only when you're going downwards!) is an amazing feeling. I haven't done that for a while (in that direction!!). I virtually lost all the weight I put on over Christmas and felt quite good. However, I've started creeping up again this week. I will really have to give myself more…

In answer to Trekkie, I feel that it can do no harm whatsoever to cut refined sugar out of anyone's diet; a most unnatural product. The last 5% is incredibly hard though. You don't seem to be going down the sweeteners route; good for you again. Let us know how you get on. more…

I find it so difficult though as my hubbie has such a sweet tooth and loves me to make puddings and cakes-oh well!

4 stones in 4 months? That's incredible. When I was 30 a group of my friends decided to sponsor a disabled athletic for the Para-Olympics. As I was grossly overweight at the time, I decided to make my contribution as a sponsored diet. I lost 6 stones, but that was over a year!!!!
